Meet Anne

"Architecture is about transforming something intangible into something tangible. Through human passion and need, we develop ideas and concepts. In architecture, form must follow function for architecture can only be successful when it serves the function of improving the lives of the people, community, and environment."
Hello! My name is Anne Marie Magee, an architectural project designer and project manager. I am a graduate of Drexel University's Bachelor of Architecture program of 2013. Since graduating college, I have worked at a few architecture firms in Pennsylvania, all considerably small in size. I have always gravitated towards smaller firms due to the wholesome learning experiences and the challenges they provide. As an architectural designer, I consider myself a creative and innovative individual who enjoys collaborating with a team or working independently. The desire to learn new skills and information to face new design and technology challenges are my main source of motivation as well as being commited to continual personal improvement. One of my great passions in architecture is creating learning spaces for children and adults that reimagine education and facilitate the ever changing trends of the learning environment. My second passion in architecture is bringing the finish details, materials, building products, and color together to create meaningful, inspirational interior spaces. Aside from my professional and educational experiences, I enjoy networking at American Institute of Architects (AIA) meetings at my local chapter as well as local Construction Specifications Institute (CSI) and Revit Users Group (RUG) meetings. They provide great topics of discussion in the industry and a chance to meet people outside of my office in the construction field. My ultimate goal is to become a Registered Architect in the State of Pennsylvania. I have begun my testing for the Architecture Registration Exams and have nearly completed my Architectural Experience Program required hours. I plan to complete my testing by late 2022.
